Jul. 31st, 2003 08:15 pmAnother day, another dollar. I find myself kind of gloomy today for some reason. I talked to my good friend Fr. Clement, who is a colleague of mine and fellow sufferer in the Canonical Doctorate program at U de M, about it and he said to just do the will of God in daily small ways and the rest will come together. I'd already thought that, but it helps to have someone else say it as confirmation.
I was going to force myself to the gym today, but I hurt my feet at work. I was walking across the showroom floor in these soft pumps I own when I stubbed my left big toe on a big piece of tile (it was over an inch thick) and as I fell forward I scraped the instep of my right foot on the heel of my left shoe as I went to catch myself. When we walked to Filiberto's for dinner, by the time we were halfway back, my right foot was throbbing to beat the band. Well, I've been really good about carbs and I think I've lost yet more weight. My body mass is healthy for my height, so I do have to be careful since I have a history of anorexia.
