Meanwhile, inside my ear
Jul. 31st, 2003 10:38 pmSo, I have this zit inside of my left ear. It hurts like a bastard, so of course I cannot stop poking it.
Why do we do this? Is it that we wonder if the next time we poke, it won't hurt?

But... I do the same thing. If it's there... I poke/pick it.
Dunno about you...

Date: 2003-08-04 03:01 am (UTC)I don't wear a lot of jewellry, but I think that is my whole ascetiscism thing happening there: nuns don't wear jewellry beyond their wedding ring. I do like rings; it's just hard for me to find ones that fit my skinny little fingers, and the loverly thumb ring I was given in Tijuana I wore down to the copper and it turned my skin green.
You just reminded me...time to put on my pearls for a little bit because they need to be against skin periodically. They are cultured, but of very high quality, a gift from my grandmother when I was a teen because she felt I needed something classy, and she was right.
Badira likes to wear them sometimes, too.
