Just out of curiosity, I did the quiz again with the only difference being that this time I said I was female whereas before I said I was androgynous. With that one change made, I was The Moon:

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

I'm now quite curious which way gender choice throws this thing.

You can light my evening anytime! Isn't it cool that I had a dream about you the same night you had a dream about me?

I'm more comfortable being androgynous and the Hierophant.

I changed the gender on mine to Androgynous and it came up as Judgement. I changed it to Female and it came up as Judgement again. So as long as I'm Male, I get Death, but anything else and it's Judgement. Make of that as you will.

I tried it as a male and got the Hierophant. I'm wondering if going female makes it choose a "gentler" card, which would be bullshit if so.

I suppose it's possible, though in defense Judgement is, in my opinion, more harsh than Death by definition.

Not by the Tarot usage of "Judgement". From Eden Gray again:

"This is the reawakening of Nature under the influence of Spirit, the mystery of birth in death. The man arising from the tomb of world belief is again conscious, the woman the subconscious, the child the regenerated personality.Spirit has now clothed itself in Man, the Word has been made flesh and dwells among us. The one who has passed the tests (including the crucial last test) is always called the "twice-born".

Death is just one of the tests and in traditional interpretation it's not even a particularly severe one. I'd rather see Death in a reading for me than the Tower.
