Okay, Circle of Souls just redeemed themselves by playing a song called "Dance of the Rats" by Emerald Rose. At night the rats put on dresses and greatcoats and little shoes and do tangos and polkas!

How delightful! Have you read Terry Pratchett's The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents? There are rat dance productions in it...

I don't, however, recall Death of Rats ever dancing. Squeaking, yes, but not dancing. ^_^

I would have expected rats to have better taste than polkas. Tangos, yes.

Tango is hard enough with two legs; can you imagine the mess with four? Al Pacino may just tango-on, but were I a rodent, I'd go for salsa!! ^_-

There were only so many syllables available for the rhyming scheme. I'm sure that many an odd dance was stepped in that kitchen.

Wow, the composer of "Dance of the Rats" found this little comment. Did someone refer you to it? It's rather neat to see you here.

I do a periodic search on http://www.ljseek.com/ looking for refs to Emerald Rose. I really like being able to check in with and keep track of fans on LJ.
