Lori the realtor brought in two couples, one straight, one lesbian. The straight couple didn't seem to like the place at all and didn't spend much time looking at it. The lesbian couple absolutely pored over it, and clearly liked it a lot, taking some time out to whisper about it out of our earshot.

Damn.

Lori says that there are some good, inexpensive two-bedroom places (of various descriptions I assume) around, but this doesn't make me feel any better, even though nothing's final till ink is on paper.

We talked about this at AIT. While I was at Basic, the landlord decided to try to sell the house. We've been hoping that no one will want the place. We certainly don't want to move; moving sucks.

That's right. I hadn't heard anything about packing, so I'd assumed the negotiations had gone well and the matter had been settled. Guess not, eh? The hobbling is still recommended.

Until the place is sold and we're given our 60-day notice, I'm not packing a thing. I want prospective buyers to see what a happy family we all are here and feel guilty about the idea of turfing us out. The ad for the house does specify "tenants want to stay" so second-best scenario is the house changes hands and we stay put.

Worst case scenario, if the "nesting lesbians" as ommkarja dubbed them, decide to plunk money down TOMORROW, we'd have a minimum of 90 days before having to leave.
