Jan. 15th, 2006 01:27 pmPotential buyer of the day has come and gone. Didn't seem too impressed, although she liked the cats, but everybody likes the cats.
I was worried because this horrible stench was in the house. I opened the front door (there is a gate over it that I leave closed) and the balcony door and the smell got worse. The potential buyer and the real estate agent told me it was coming from across the street and blowing into the house, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were a *gulp* dead body in the alley or something. I was thinking it smelled as if the cats had killed a mouse or other small mammal and secreted it somewhere. Glad to know that's not the case.

Date: 2006-01-16 09:37 pm (UTC)Now, I'm not trying to be an unsympathetic person, but one would hope that would keep prospective buyers away.
Sympathetic hugs,
H.
(and I love your sorta frowny icon; you're having way too much fun with these!)

Date: 2006-01-16 09:48 pm (UTC)I'm hoping much the same thing myself. It's weird *hoping* to hear gunfire when prospective buyers are here.
