I should probably clarify something; my problem is getting away from work. I've already pegged Yanksgiving as when I'll be going to Montreal to see my dissertation advisors. To need another couple of days to run up to Vancouver to face it, interview for another job, will probably not go over well.

Another thing I could do is fly into Seattle and rent a car. I'm also going to ask if I can take my tests in Montreal and have the results sent to Vancouver, but since recruiters get paid bounty for who they bring in, I don't know if that could happen.

Don already said I could stay at his place, but since he didn't clear it with Eva, I'm a little dubious. Although now that they are engaged, she might not be so convinced I'm going to steal him back.

If you need a place in Montreal, you can always stay with taxlady and I. We have a guest room and everything, although we are a bit out towards the 'west pole' as _sps_ puts it.

I'm coming up (and maybe Steve is too!) for American Thanksgiving and YES, we will be visiting. Hurray, and thank you!

Officer school is in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu so that's close to Montreal too, although I doubt I'll be allowed visits until close to the end of that.
