Steve and I spent yesterday evening after that *lovely* phone call doing more cleanup. Tomorrow I'm going to do the garage, which will at least show us how many boxes we have. Then we'll take photos with the paper from that day. On Saturday, landlord wants to "inspect" the place. I've already told Steve I will be elsewhere.
We've decided that I have to swallow my pride and humiliation and not rush out of here. It seems I spend most of my life doing that, but it's worth it for a roof over our heads. There are several apartment-finding sites for people who have pets, so it looks like we'll be able to find something.
So the top priority is me finding a job again. I'm having ProSource flashbacks; I just do not want to get myself into another job that's going to drive me to the brink of insanity and having me living on antacids.
Best case scenario: I start getting temp work until I can make something happen through the Reserves. Before I left for BCT, I could never get a day off from the temping it seemed. May it please God that'll happen again--and soon!
