lady_kishiriaOkay, we are in the Freaky My Life Has Gone Rapid Cycle Bipolar On Me time.
Last night, all was in the toilet. I didn't sleep, spent a goodly amount of time crying, etc.
Today I called Cpt. Jones who said that she will see if she can get the UA job reposted (and it pays MORE than I originally thought) but that she can get me a job, she just "doesn't know about the timing" which isn't what I want to hear, granted, but it still sounds as if things might work out.
She also told me I should go get my direct commission. There's a slot for a Second Lieutenant (LOOOOtenant, Rendino, not LEFtenant...) and the next board is in March. She mentioned that several times because of my degree.
I've just gotten so paranoid that I hope this isn't setting me up to dash me on the rocks yet again.
And now, to call Mom and then get working on making this house into Buckingham Palace.

I'm keeping all of my appendages crossed for you. I'm hoping that the really good job comes through and that the landlord from hell thing has a decent resolution.
