I got censored at Gundamwatch...again. My crime was to say that Super Defender was for 7 year olds and that's why I don't watch it. According to the mod (not Graybear for a change), this is "bashing". Usually I just sigh and move on when this happens, but this time I argued back, saying that it IS a show for 7 year olds! It's a GOOD show for 7 year olds, and I introduced my nephew to it and I even own a Captain Gundam, but IT'S FOR 7 YEAR OLDS.

Gah! If it weren't for the fact that I believe in the second coming of Gundam.com as much as I believe in the Mahdi, I'd just pack my fanfic and go.

You know, I can't see how Jacko can get away with his weirdness here in the Gulf. All I can think of is "money", and the minute that money's gone, I don't see him being welcome here anymore.

Yeah, I got censored at Gwatch for calling Char an "a-hole" one time. I bet if someone called Ghinius an a-hole, the mods wouldn't care. It's all because Char is a popular character and some (if not all) of the mods like him. So yeah, Gwatch is getting less free by the day...

I hate Gundamwatch. The only reason I use it is because it's the only game in town. The owner personally hates me, and his moderators have an out and out persecution going on. Normally I just roll with it because I've made friends through the forum too, but this got ridiculous. I expect to be kicked off, but I'll get my own back, oh yes.

*rolls eyes* Why am I not surprised at that? Although I wonder if they'd "censor" anyone else who'd say the same thing (because I would most definitely agree with you on the sentiment that it's aimed at kids, even though I have a Zako Soldier figure on my shelf), or if they're just singling you out for the reasons they've mentioned. It's petty, childish, and goes against what they've long claimed to be about. Easy to see why I turned around and never went back, isn't it?

Meh. This is why I've decided to just forgo the Gundam fandom altogether and enjoy the shows on my own time and in my own way.

I've been lucky in that I still very much enjoy Gundam and Gundam fandom. I've made a lot of friends through it and I love showing off my fanfic. But this is just....gah.

And like I said, I have a Captain Gundam. I sent my nephew one too, when he was 7. Now he's 10 and likes SEED. When my niece and nephew saw I had DVDs of Gundam Wing they begged to see them, so we three sat down and watched episodes.
