I just checked the web site and I was rejected for the UA job because my resume didn't meet the requirements, it said. Yes, I had someone look over it for me first.

Every last thing that could have been good or beneficial this month has fallen through. EVERY LAST FUCKING THING. There's still a week left so God only knows what else might happen.

Whenever that happens to me, I try to tell myself that it all for the better, because it leaves me open for an even better opportunity that is coming just down the pipe. Many times that has proved to be true.

(That doesn't mean I always manage to convince myself, of course.)

I have a job interview Thursday, set up by my temp agency (it's temp-to-hire). I actually have a good feeling about it. The downside is losing money when I have to go off with the Army during the workweek since my Army daily pay is less than what I'd make at this company. The upside is that I will be able to postpone buying a car again, since it's accessible by transit. Not having to drive will save me a lot of money, plus it's time in my day to READ. It's technically a word processing job, but it has a lot of tech writing/editing too, and I've always wanted to do that. We'll see.
