The new place

We're moved in. It went very well on Friday. Saturday was full of spending WAY more money than we wanted in order to organize the space (and insane love, thanks, and props to seki_raku for helping me with the kitchen and being our guru at the Container Store), and on Sunday I cracked the whip to the effect of getting our space pretty much finished. There are about three boxes out, but of course in a small dwelling they stand out rather badly.

Winner moments: heyoka, who is a little person with very short legs, using the lid of a toilet seat as a desk as she cat-sat and coming back from the pizza place to letter_d telling me, "Next time, YOU deal with the drunk Mexican." Apparently a guy wanted to help unload the truck and then reeled off before he could collect the two dollars he'd been promised.

Mei-Mei has a new necklace. It's pink with rhinestones and a heart-shaped pendant with her name and our phone number. It's Too Cute.
