Today's breakfast
Feb. 4th, 2007 10:42 amI finally got a chance to make the kind of breakfast I like to make and eat. Steve suggested getting a loaf of raisin bread so I could make French toast since we haven't had it in ages. So this morning it was French toast with raisin bread and turkey bacon.
We're a little puzzled by Mei-Mei who was very "meh" about the bacon. Usually she tap-dances for it.
Sociological experiment ahead: I'm going to the 1330 mass because the option is the oh-so-pasteurized 1100 at the Immaculata. The 1330 is down the street and in Spanish. Steve says that the 1330 is thus guaranteed to be short since kickoff is at 1530. I disagree, as it's my observation that Latinos are baseball fans. There is a Padres shop in Tijuana, not a Chargers one. Certainly my Papi was fanatical about his Mets and any interest he showed in the Redskins was purely out of courtesy for my dad and brother. So I shall now find out which one of us is right.
Pizza tonight (frozen, from Vons).
