lady_kishiriaToday I was prepping for tonights beef stew. My Chinese cleaver slipped and I got a nice slash right across the fingernail of my left ring finger.
Yeah, it hurt. Still does.
As I was standing there with my bleeding finger, I thought, "I'm supposed to do something with this, what is it?"
I couldn't hear what my remote Aztec ancestor was saying, so I just put pressure and a bandage on it.
(This btw is one of the reasons I don't worship my ancestral deities...I do not want to slash my earlobe or fingertips every morning during morning prayer! That and the Geneva Convention prohibits sacrificing your prisoners.)
