Today I was on the bus, and I was thinking, ¨Why do I have to wait to get off the bus at the stop? Why won´t the driver just let me off where I want to be?¨ Then I remembered this isn´t a combi I´m riding (I would be wedged between two old women and a toddler drinking lemonade out of a plastic bag if I were) and I have to get out where the city tells me to.

The job is okay. I learned how to code pretty fast, so now it´s just judgement calls which I need to get in line with the judgement calls of the company. Since my line of thinking tends to be way more...uh...CREATIVE than your average joe´s, this is going to be the hard part.

It´s not exciting, but I look at the resumes I´m coding and try to picture the kind of person who wrote it. I´ve got two Soldiers of Fortune, one Algerian terrorist, one loser who put McDonald´s on her resume and she is over the age of 19, etc.

Punk Panther: do Canadian soldiers usually live on-base or off of it? If they live on-base, I read they have to pay room and board anyway. Is this true?

Word to Tia: I am having a spicy chicken burrito from Filiberto´s and a beer for my supper. Want some?

No kidding the reason I think some people (like me) can handle spice and some (like you) cannot seems to be mostly cultural and partly genetic. My dad trained me to eat jalapenos by clucking like a chicken at me when I wouldn´t, but obviously I had the genes to make it easy for me to do so. Now I eat salsa with my breakfast.
