Feb. 19th, 2004 12:26 pmI have decided that from this point out, I will be referring to the country in which I am living as "The Planet of the Apes".
It is clear to me that there are two types of people living here. There are the human beings and there are the chimps. You know, the ones with the Jesus and I Love The Planet of the Apes bumper stickers who freak out because Janet Jackson showed her booby in a media stunt.
I realized today that CNN isn't even covering POTA deaths in Iraq. Since I now have a personal stock in knowing if one of my friends is in a body bag, this outrages me. However, media censorship is alive and well on the Planet of the Apes, and I have to get that kind of news from Al-Jazeera. (Just so you know, I've seen Al-Jazeera cover deaths that CNN didn't which were reported on the San Diego Union Trib web site because the soldier(s) killed were from here.)
So word to Dubya: "DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!!!!!"
