Yesterday´s events

lady_kishiriaOkay, Steve wanted Bronx Pizza because they make a kind of pie he likes; alfredo sauce, tomato, and garlic. Since I´d heard it was the best in San Diego, I said, sure.
Well, when they served it, they put two pieces of pizza on each paper plate. These are the kind most people don´t use anymore since the sturdy paper or styrofoam ones hold up and paper doesn´t. And it didn´t. Four slices of 300 degree pizza fell onto Steve´s arms and shirt. He actually has burn marks on his arms now. The guy who served it to him shrugged and walked away.
Steve was too livid to speak to them, so we went home so he could change, wash, and phone them. He was told on they phone, ¨Oh yeah, I´ll talk to my manager when he gets back.¨
Steve hung up and wrote a letter, then we went to our usual pizza place, NYPD. The lady who owns it told Steve she had heard awful things about Bronx´s attitudes. She agreed with Steve that it´s one thing to be a brusque New Yorker, but when someone gets HURT, come on. Furthermore, I know that Joey and Paulie at Sheepshead Bay pizza would hop to if any of their customers had this happen. Course, they also have the sense God gave a head of lettuce to give their customers trays. From what she said about Bronx Pizza, we don´t expect a response. That´s fine, we will just make sure that the word gets out about what assholes they are.
You know, this sounds like a Seinfeld episode. I know something similar happened in Mad About You.
Zinegata wrote a short story and it wasn´t too bad. It just had too many characters and too much going on. It´s on fanfiction.net. I reviewed it first. It was funny, because we hate each other, but he wanted my approval on his work. I must be popular.
Fermented pear cider is goooooood. And I am drinking it out of my silver Jolly Roger goblet.
