Medieval Garage Sale!

Well, it *was*. Local SCA and Ren Faire types get together to sell and trade their disused fabric, garb, armour, books, jewellry, etc. I took a swing out there, looking for medieval clothes I could use for something later this year.
Because I'm small, the one dress I liked would have had to have been completely re-sized. I found an utterly gorgeous mens' tunic that would have looked great on Steve--except that both he and Ryan could wear it simultaneously. It was a shame because it was a blue that would have looked good on him and had beautiful knotted beadwork on the yoke, but the size was just a no-go.
I did, however, come out with books.
toysdream, I finally have the Penguin edition of "Morte d'Arthur". I also have Johannes Bronsted's "The Vikings", Gwyn Jones' "History of the Vikings" which will likely be my airplane reading and Else Roesdahl's "The Vikings".
Off to practice my presentation and return library books.
