To get the not great news out of the way first, I got back my LSAT score and it was 151. I have to look at the more detailed site to find out where I did well and where I didn't. (151 will get me into a second-rate school, but without a scholarship. Not acceptable.) The I have until June to try again, though the prospect of sitting through that 5-hour hell again is one that makes me hesitate. I am also leery about taking on more student debt.
On the other hand, we went to the Y and I had a really good workout. After that we went to a record store in Hillcrest that Steve had heard about. It was kind of like L'Echange, but with more new stuff and more spread out. Not that that's difficult; the subway at rush hour is less cramped than the Mont-Royal L'Echange on a Sunday afternoon. I came out with a used copy of Peter Gabriel's "Us" and The Clash's "From Here To Eternity". I just bought "Combat Rock" the other day and don't know how I've lived so long without owning it. And Tony says that's not even their best one!
Yeah, Tony came down and we went to TGI Friday's for dinner since they have an Atkins menu and they're fairly inexpensive. We came out with dinner for 3 being about $32 all told. Then we went to Dave & Buster's until about 1. Fun was had.
Breakfast time! We have church and then Steve's friend Jim's 8th birthday to celebrate.
