We bought Mei-Mei her gold plated cat food and are again going through the test of wills to get her to eat it. Obviously we did last time, although the vet felt that the best way to get her to eat was to deny her anything else.

Right now her new food, which is dry because she doesn't like "gushy fudz", is mixed with her old one and she is still dubious.

I need her to eat. Suggestions?

Does she like tuna? See if she;ll eat some tuna, or at least dry food with some tuna juice in it.

The shelter cats are pulling for Mei-Mei.

She ate some chicken just now. I think I might mix some into her food.

I would say mix it with wet but you just stated she doesn't like wet food. That being said you might want to put a teeny bit of chicken or tuna in there, or at least put some of its juices in the bowl with the dry food on top. I hope that makes sense.

Many cats like really offensive smelling foods. Cheap tinned sardines are often excellent cat-bait.
