Modern runestone in Denmark

This will interest a lot of you, though perhaps [profile] americanstd the most. ([personal profile] taxlady, being Saami, perhaps has a little less of a connection.)

It sounds interesting! Someday, I'd like to see a rune-stone in person, despite not being Asatru. It'd just be neat.

Hmm, I think that being a heathen probably gives me more connection, as well as having lived in Denmark.

I wonder how many Asa there are now.

Thanks for the link.

As for how many Asa are there in Denmark now...as many as there ever were. The Asa are one set of the gods, the others being the Vana. They're also referred to as Aesir and Vanir.

As for how many Asatru there are in Denmark, probably easy to look it up. It's a registered religion there now. It's very prevalent in Iceland and our favourite metal band, Amon Amarth, are devout heathens from Sweden.
