lady_kishiriaI spent today painting a mural in the classroom. Someone several classes back had started it, so we had a blue circle with a wreath penciled around it. Sgt L and two Spc Bs and I had a can of yellow paint, some brushes, and a vague idea that we're to paint the crest shown above in the circle.
Well, Sgt L dug some black paint and gold spray paint out of a storage unit. I brought my scissors and with masking tape, spray paint puddled in a tray and the brushes I painted the design on, based on the pencil sketch, and it doesn't look too bad. Our instructor came in and praised it, but we did the outer wreath in yellow and I have to repaint it in gold. I said I'd be happy too, provided she got us a can of gold paint and she said deal. I wasn't really planning on spending tomorrow in uniform, but I guess that's what's going to happen. I'll get a photo when it's done.
