Tired

Among other things, I went to the law firm where I work and picked up a cash payment in lieu of the paycheque that bounced as well as a cheque for my working last week. (One nice thing about this job is I'm paid weekly.)

I had Steve glucose test Mei-Mei. We haven't given her insulin in a few days because she tested normal, but she's right back up in the numbers again. I think we're just going to have to keep dosing her for a few weeks. Ordinarily she gets over this in a month, and I can say for a fact she hasn't been acting at all sick. She is sneezing a little, which might be the culprit. It's an inconvenience, but we're so massively inconvenienced now overall it's just....fuck. We don't need this.

A work place that gives out bouncing checks isn't a good sign they will be in business much longer. That's scary and I'd have been very angry. I'm glad you managed to get your pay.

Please find out if a cat who is ill or in pain can expect spikes their blood sugar as it does in people. Also not eating causes the sugar to rise. I can only speak from the human point of view as I know very little about pet medical care.

My kitties are meowing and telling me to "come to bed and pull up the cubbers". Goodnight.
