Among other things, I went to the law firm where I work and picked up a cash payment in lieu of the paycheque that bounced as well as a cheque for my working last week. (One nice thing about this job is I'm paid weekly.)

I had Steve glucose test Mei-Mei. We haven't given her insulin in a few days because she tested normal, but she's right back up in the numbers again. I think we're just going to have to keep dosing her for a few weeks. Ordinarily she gets over this in a month, and I can say for a fact she hasn't been acting at all sick. She is sneezing a little, which might be the culprit. It's an inconvenience, but we're so massively inconvenienced now overall it's just....fuck. We don't need this.

This is the third diabetic cat I've had. Two have been kitties adopted as senior cats; Badira turned out to have had a pancreatic cancer at her necropsy. We actually do have more than a little experience with this.

Mei-Mei always has food in her dish although she may be having some arthritis that is bothering her. Thanks.
