Here we go again

Steve came out of the house today and the car wouldn't start. Repairs will be made and paid for tomorrow. He missed a whole day of work because the mechanic said he'd repair the car today and didn't, so there's more money lost than just what's going to go into the car itself.

Our spiffy new toaster's timer doesn't work, so it has to go back to the NEX. >_<

On the other hand, garpu signed on with Candy Is A Liar, so that's hip. Once desert_vixen gets to join up too, the party will truly start.

Yeah, I'm bummed. I've had more than enough of the "two steps forward, one step back" dance.

Sorry about the car problems and having to lose work because of it. It sounds like the very old and familiar 'one step forward and two steps back.'

That site's pretty cool...I feel more apt to post on it than the other "candy is whack" catholic apologetic site. The other one (run by someone named "elena") feels like I shouldn't be reading it, unless I have five kids.
