Should I use this? I can cross-post to LJ. I haven't been bothered by the LJ changes; they always do them and people always freak out.

Meh, I'll just hang onto this until LJ alienates me completely, which hasn't happened so far.

You may want to import the entire contents of your LJ over here. It's easy and blink-of-an-eye quick (okay, so maybe an hour). The only wrinkle is that, due to LJ screwing up ... oh, sorry, I meant improving (nah, not really) their programming, comments aren't being imported - ATM - but DW is working on the problem. After you import, you can make your entries here and they'll crosspost to LJ. Personally, I no longer have ANY trust in LJ. They speak to their new Russian base but either ignore us or treat us with contempt. Don't we have enough entities in our lives that treat us like that?

Maybe I don't spend enough time on LJ, but I get angry more often at FaceBook. LJ is a blogging tool for me, and if they change it and it doesn't affect its functioning for me, I don't care. I never read the system announcements to begin with.

I don't even use DW. I had to be arm-twisted to start using FB. LJ is my blogging home.

I do the cross posting thing when I remember to log into my DW account. I like DW but it's not as active. I wish it would become more popular.
