Well, this is the thing. No, I can't point you to a direct quote, but obviously, I've read a lot about ghosts over the years because. Long story short, the Church admits that ghosts are possible. It has methods for dealing with them, which it wouldn't if it didn't think they could exist.

Much though Catholicism often has me wishing I'd been born Jewish, I am glad that unlike some churches it does not clap its hands over its ears and yell "LALALALALA, I can't hear you!" in the face of that which it can't explain. Better yet it goes for a psychological or even parapsychological explanation before it opts for "demonic". It admits for psychokinesis, as I've said about three times in other places. Since priests are often called in in cases of poltergeist activity, psychokinesis is usually given as the cause when "hoax" has been ruled out.

Yeah, I read that too and wondered wtf is going on in her head...not very much, obviously.

She says she's sitting GCSE's as well, which I (very much) doubt they sit in the Republic of Ireland. I'm sure they do a leaving certificate. GCSEs are UK exams...she might be in Northern Ireland though...but I digress...

Yeah, I think she probably is. In a way (uncharitable as it is) that irritates me more. If she were just a troll I could banninate her and be done with it. As it is, I have to sit and pay attention to her posts until she either gets a clue or gets bored and goes away... *sigh*
