Morning blood offering! (Not menstruation related)

Today I was prepping for tonights beef stew. My Chinese cleaver slipped and I got a nice slash right across the fingernail of my left ring finger.

Yeah, it hurt. Still does.

As I was standing there with my bleeding finger, I thought, "I'm supposed to do something with this, what is it?"

I couldn't hear what my remote Aztec ancestor was saying, so I just put pressure and a bandage on it.

(This btw is one of the reasons I don't worship my ancestral deities...I do not want to slash my earlobe or fingertips every morning during morning prayer! That and the Geneva Convention prohibits sacrificing your prisoners.)

I'm in town. Not sure if you despise me but no worries if you do. Was supposed to have a kickoxing match but the Ca Athletic Commission shut it down. Sigh. Sgt. Robinsom and myself just got back from the Gaslamp area. Met a nice scorpio. You're still in my prayers. God bless!
